Hub for Health Impact

Hub for Health Impact is an exciting collaborative entity bringing together life sciences companies across Colorado to showcase the state as a top destination for talent and innovation. Colorado is bold, community-driven, and passionate—and we wanted the brand to reflect that.

I art directed and designed the logo and visual identity, creating a look that felt fresh, dynamic, and full of momentum. Beyond branding, I designed a range of assets, including a brochure, website, digital ads, social media ads, and more. Running for a year, the campaign successfully attracted new life sciences companies and talent to Colorado while sparking enthusiasm from local businesses eager to get involved.

The Logo

This logo captures the vibrant energy and collaborative spirit flowing through Colorado’s innovation ecosystem. At its core is a repeated “CO” design element, forming an energetic circle that symbolizes a thriving, connected community or “hub”. The multi-color palette reflects inclusivity and warmth, while subtly nodding to the Colorado lifestyle — with blues and greens evoking rivers and nature, and warm sunrise tones suggesting optimism, new beginnings, and forward momentum. The deep blue grounding the design adds a sense of sophistication and trust, drawing from color theory and the visual language often used by established institutions and corporations.

The Visual Identity

The logo is part of the greater visual identity system for this brand. A color palette, typography styles, graphic language and more were created to help communicate on behalf of the brand. An icon system was designed to emulate the shapes within the logo and help convey the six critical factors, which are pillars of this collaborative. The rounded shapes in the design system emulate the shapes within the logo as well, making everything feel cohesive and simple to execute.

Print and Digital Collateral

With the visual identity in place, we created many printed and digital pieces for this collaborative, including a presentation deck, brochure, digital advertising, social media posts, and more.

Website

We designed and developed a website for this collaborative that housed information about the campaign, resource guides, an interactive map of Colorado, regularly updated news section and more!
